Some friends of mine have recently asked why is the name of my blog whitekismet? Well, it's to pay tribute to one half of the mostfamous and perhaps terrible combos in the Magic card games - that of the Stasis/Kismet lock.

It's fine if you don't know what I am talking about but the Kismet card is so powerful they reprinted another card that does the same thing in the current Betrayers set. Of course, Kismet was a White-aligned card, hence White Kismet, geddit? It also helps that I have been helplessly beaten by a Kismet/Stasis deck as it basically locks you down, denies your resources while your opponent beats your head with a 4/4 creature or mills (force you to deplete cards) your deck. Sheesh.
